New York Times poster store opens with 1,000 pieces of art – New York Post
Posted November 15, 2018 09:50:15New York’s most iconic magazine has opened with 1.1 million pieces of print and poster art.
The New York post is a sister publication to The Times, which was founded in 1888.
The magazine is located in the heart of the city’s financial district, on Seventh Avenue, which is now the Times Square.
The Times will celebrate its 125th anniversary in 2019.
“I am excited to have the opportunity to offer our readers the opportunity for a more personal experience through this digital medium,” New York’s senior vice president for news, David P. Siegel, said in a statement.
The news was first reported by Bloomberg Businessweek.
The newspaper said that all 1,095 pieces of new print and post were made from the New York collection of about 100 artists.
It was the first time in its history that a newspaper published its first print issue without any advertisements.
The announcement came just days after the paper unveiled a new website, which will provide subscribers with news and exclusive content.
It’s also the latest chapter in the Times’ strategy to turn the pages of its history into digital assets.
Last month, the paper launched the new newspaper app, which allows subscribers to receive the most important and compelling news from the newsroom.
